School Mission 

Through a personalized environment, service learning, and blended high school and college curriculum, SECHS will equip students to become effective problem-solvers and college graduates who will make a positive impact on the local and global communities.

Vision Statement 

Our school empowers students from all backgrounds to thrive. Upon graduation, students will earn an associate's degree, make a positive impact on their communities, and be well-prepared to pursue a bachelor’s degree and beyond.

Guiding Belief 

At South Early College High School (SECHS), we believe that first-generation and underrepresented students deserve equitable access to rigorous academic opportunities. Through our partnership with Houston Community College (HCC), we provide a supportive small school environment where students can earn an associate’s degree, prepare for college or career success, and grow into leaders who positively impact their communities.
